Calgary born, Toronto based artist Caroline 'Lady C' Fraser started her journey at a young age.
Coming from a long lineage of musicians, dancers and entertainers, she came by her life as an artist honestly and organically.
She got her start in performance and entertainment through dance which eventually led her to a career as a professional dance artist under the pseudonym ‘Lady C’ which she built a worldwide successful reputation.
As a dancer her main focus is in Street Dance culture, and although she has made her mark in this global community her training includes a background in Ballet, Contemporary, Tap Dance and most recently extends into Jazz Dance forms with Holla Jazz Dance Company.
Lady C began her dance journey at age 3, studying mostly in studio atmospheres and learning a lot of her skill set from her mother and sister.
She discovered the Street Dance community in her late teens and began studying under many of the pioneers and legends of Popping, Locking, House and Hip Hop such as Popin Pete, Sugapop, Caleaf Sellers and Link to name a few. She felt an instant and deep connection to these dance forms and continued to pursue them further by participating in the culture through battling, performing and exchanging in these communities.
This exploration led her to a professional career in dance and brought her many opportunities and accolades...
In 2012 she became a member of Soul Shifters Crew (USA) and a few years later also became a member of Symbiotic Monsters Crew (CAN).
Lady C has performed with Ebnfloh Dance Company (Montreal), Holla Jazz Dance Company (Toronto) and choreographed her own work including a live music & dance collaborative work titled ‘Conversation’ which premiered with rave reviews at Toronto Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. She holds titles from renowned events such as Red Bull Dance Your Style, Juste Debout and was the recipient of 2 Dora Mavor Moore Awards as well as Canadian Dancer of the Year.
In 2022 Lady C was invited to judge the Locking category at Summer Dance Forever - one of the largest Street Dance events in the world, and was also the Popping champion of Jack Of All Trades Festival, Montreal.

Lady C has simultaneously had a successful career in music as a vocal recording artist and songwriter under the same pseudonym.
Raised by two musical parents in a household of many different types of music, she gained an appreciation for a very wide range of sounds.
Through the dance community, she began to meet and collaborate with other dance/music artists, thus creating a synergetic relationship between these two realms.
She is most known for her collaborations with House/Electronic producer Cody 'Coflo' Ferreira and Neo-Funk producer Kay-Bee.
Lady C has had multiple releases on labels such as AtJazz (UK), Catch the Ghost (CA), Merecumbe (NYC), Ocha (NYC) and Kept Records (CAN).
In 2023 she released her first full length solo album project under a new music pseudonym 'CEE.' The album 'SLP' was released on digital and streaming platforms as well as a limited vinyl release.
Both artistries lending inspiration to one another, Lady C continues to express her vision through both art forms with ingenuity and honesty.
