Lady C is internationally known for her unique versatility and original style in both dance and music…

Lady C began dancing at age 4 doing Ballet, Jazz and Tap.  She continued until the age of 15 when she discovered Street Dance and was captivated by the energy of the music, movement and culture that surrounded it.

She studied multiple styles under many of the pioneers and legends of Street Dance and obtained an ability to move between Popping, Locking, House, Hip Hop and Breaking while maintaining the integrity and essence of each one.

In 2012 Lady C became a member of Soul Shifters Crew (USA) and in 2017 also joined Symbiotic Monsters Crew (Montreal/Toronto).

Lady C was hired on the cast of Montreal's Ebnfloh Dance Company from 2014-2018 and the cast of Toronto Dance Company Holla Jazz in 2016 whom she is still dancing with today.

Through the competitive, performance and choreography circuit she has travelled the world and gained many accolades such as Red Bull Dance Your Style (Canadian Winner /Paris finalist), Juste Debout (North American Locking winner/Paris finalist) KOD World Cup (Canadian Winner/USA finalist), Top Rock City-top 10 worldwide (chosen by street dance legends Mr.Wiggles & Bboy Ynot of Rock Steady Crew),

Bust-A-Move Locking & House winner (largest Canadian street dance competition), R-16 USA finalist, and a Canadian Hip Hop Dance representative in the 2017 Francophone Games in Cotê D-Ivoire.

In 2015 Lady C was honoured with the Gadfly ‘Dancer of the Year’ Award in Canada  as well as 2 Canadian Dora Awards for ‘Best Female Solo Performance’ and again in 2018 for 'Best Ensemble (Floor'd)' .

Most recently, Lady C presented her own work titled 'Conversation' which featured a full cast of street dancers and live original music.  The piece was commissioned and presented by Fall For Dance North Festival at Toronto's largest theatre The Sony Centre (Meridian Hall).  It was received with rave review and awarded a grant from Canada Council for the Arts to continue and expand on the work.

Simultaneously while training in dance, Lady C was working on music as a young teen recording herself over J Dilla beats and writing her own lyrics.  This teenage incubation period evolved into a music career that brought her together with Calgary funk improv band Freak Motif in 2008 where she commanded the stage as front woman dancing, singing and hyping up the crowd, she released 2 vinyl recordings with FRKMTF including single 'Killin Me' which reached international acclaim.

She then moved on to collaborate with fellow Soul Shifters crew member and house producer Cody 'Coflo' Ferreira in 2012 making electronic music . Together they released many singles in the House music genre that were worthy of accolades from legends such as AtJazz, Osunlade, DJ Carlos, and Hector Romero.

In 2018 Lady C was voted Top 100 Vocalists on Traxsource, a worldwide platform for Electronic music and held 2 number 1 spots on the charts with Coflo in 2019.

Lady C also began a collaborative project with L.A. producer & world famous dancer Kay-Bee (Kid Boogie) and released 2 Neo-Funk singles in 2019 that received rave review.

When she is not travelling the world sharing her crafts,  Lady C resides in Toronto where she continues her personal development within Hip Hop culture, performing with Holla Jazz Dance Company and expanding on a professional career in Music and vocal recording.
